This notice is prepared in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable. As Aquila Labs, we act as the data controller for the personal data you share with us.

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and any information you choose to include in your message. When you visit our website, we may automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing

We process your personal data to respond to your inquiries and requests (legal basis: legitimate interest and your explicit consent), to maintain the security and proper functioning of our systems (legal basis: legitimate interest), and to comply with legal obligations where required.

Disclosure to Third Parties

Your personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your data with our service providers — specifically our infrastructure provider (Supabase, based in the EU) and email delivery provider (Resend) — solely to the extent necessary to operate our services. These providers are bound by data processing agreements.

International Transfers

Our service providers may process data outside of Turkey. Where such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with KVKK Article 9 and GDPR Chapter V.

Retention Period

Contact form data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, and no longer than 2 years unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.

Your Rights

Under KVKK Article 11 and applicable GDPR provisions, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information about the processing, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom your data has been transferred, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request deletion or destruction of your data, and to object to automated decision-making.
